Rowdy Lake Camp

American PlanRowdy Lake Camp

Discover Northern Ontario how it was meant to be seen — as a flawless beauty. Take it all in on a fly-in fishing trip to Rowdy Lake Camp. Experience the joy of remote fishing, just you and the water. Part of the Sturgeon River system and nestled within the pristine Woodland Caribou Park, you’ll be able to enjoy trying to haul in your next trophy walleye catch, or trout, pike and bass. With seven neighbouring lakes just a short walk or portage away, you can have a different challenge every day. However, you may be just as happy finding the spot for you where the fish

are biting — with only ten guests at a time and twelve miles of Rowdy Lake for you to explore, you might just find the perfect place for you. If you’re a group of eight to ten, you’ll have the entire camp to yourselves!

After you’re ready to turn back to land for the day, join us in the dining room for a home cooked meal. We’ll take care of all the meals, including a shore lunch with freshly caught fish. Ready to retire for the night? Our rustic log cabins are well maintained and updated, complete with solar power. You’ll feel right at home.

There’s no need to boat to the far end of the lake to fish when you stay at Bow Narrows Camp on Red Lake. We’re already at the far end of the lake and right amidst the best walleye, northern pike, lake trout and whitefish water in Northwestern Ontario! We meet you in the town of Red Lake and take you by cabin cruiser boat out to the camp. American Plan or Housekeeping Plan packages include everything. We even clean your fish. Our eight lakeside cabins have three-piece baths and full kitchens. Top quality meals are served in the dining room. Fishing literally starts at the dock. We also offer fully outfitted, guided canoe trips into Woodland Caribou Wilderness Park that include your first and last night’s accommodation and gourmet meals at the camp. Don’t miss our lodge-based autumn adventures each August and September. These include guided and unguided day trips by boat, sea kayak, and canoe to celebrate the Boreal Forest at its finest. Explore abandoned gold mines, see waterfowl migrations, learn to call moose, howl up wolves.
